Peer Syed Mudassir Nazar Shah: Peer Syed Mudassir Nazar Shah is the Sajjada Nasheen of Darbar-e-Alia, Saroba Sharif in Jhelum district. He is serving through his socio-political obligations by leading a socially and politically active life. He is co-chairman of Netherlands based Universal Sufi council. Mr. Shah is also the founder and Chairman of Salook, an Islamabad-based Sufi think-tank established in October 2014. Salook is dedicated to research on Islam; the current religious discourse in Pakistan; and promoting religious collaboration and harmony. Mr. Shah was born on 1978 in the town of Mach, Bolan district of Balochistan and has grown up in the same city. Having grown up in the remote Bolan district and later having studied at the Balochistan University Quetta has given him an excellent command over Baloch issues and problems. Mr. Shah has a wealth of knowledge about some of the burning issues of the day such as the current religious discourse in Pakistan, extremism and terrorism, Balochistan, and Pakistani politics. He received his early education from Machh, and has a Masters degree in Political Science from Balochistan University, Quetta. He is married and has two daughters and a son. He has traveled to Thailand, Holland, France, Hungary, Turkey, Egypt, UK, and the USA for various socio-political causes.

Dr. Arshi Saleem Hashmi: Dr. Arshi Saleem Hashmi specializes in religion and violent conflicts. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, and Focal Person for the Centre of Excellence on Counter Extremism at National Defense University (NDU) Islamabad. She has worked with the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, Institute of Regional Studies and University of Karachi before joining the NDU in Islamabad. Dr. Hashmi is a member of Women without Borders (WwB) Vienna and its project Sisters Against Violent Extremism (SAVE). She has been a speaker at TedxWomen 2012 in New York and Omega Women Conference in New York in 2012. She has been Kodikara Fellow, Rotary International Peace Fellow and Yale World Fellow at Yale University and has studied Counter Terrorism at Harvard University under South Asia Leadership Program.

Syed Shamoon Hashmi: Syed Shamoon Hashmi holds an active track record as a human rights activist and in particular the Gender related issues. In his capacity as the Joint Secretary, National Assembly of Pakistan, he was instrumental in the creation of an across-the-board all-parties Women Parliamentary Caucus — the first of its kind alliance of women legislators in the national history. His efforts have also yielded in the creation of Parliamentary Task Force on Sustainable Development Goals and the initiation of Parliamentary Studies course in 17 universities of Pakistan. Born in Rawalpindi, Shamoon Hashmi has remained actively involved in various forms of interactive, print and electronic media. Shamoon Hashmi is best known for his Television and Radio background as has compered numerous programmes for Pakistan Television, Geo TV, Indus TV and ARY Digital. He’s widely respected for his love of Urdu language, poetry and culture. He has to his credit the production of more than three dozen documentaries, countless thematic shows, ensembles and live shows.

Taimur Rehman: Taimur Rehman heads an IT company ‘Webmekanics’ and also works as a Web Consultant with Unicef. With a background in CS and MBA from England, Taimur moved back to Pakistan in 2010 and worked with VisualSoft, JWT & Canteen Stores Department. Taimur has been very actively involved in several calamities in Pakistan – like Thar Famine, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park Lahore Blast, Joseph Colony Lahore and several others. It was Joseph Colony, where Taimur repainted the colony along with children and also distributed Bibles amongst the Christian community, for he firmly believes in what Jinnah once said, “You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan.”
Taimur is also very vocal on the rights of minorities in Pakistan and also spoke in The House of Lords (British Parliament) for Ahmeddiya Persecution in the country. One of his favourite quotes is, “Peace begins with a smile!” and he’s a staunch advocate of Peace.
In his own words, “Technology is my profession and Urdu Adab is my passion!” Taimur, is a renowned Urdu Storyteller and has performed at Literature Festivals in Pakistan, South Asian Literature Festival – London, TEDx Change, TEDx Islamabad and many other places. With his impeccable Urdu, he is reviving the lost art form of storytelling.

Dr. Mussatnser Tinauli:  Dr. Musstanser Tinauli is a global citizen, smart city expert and an innovator. He focuses on finding innovative ways to create sustainable, smarter and safer livelihoods. He is the founder of a startup called Fori Mazdoori that economically empowers the blue collared workers. Dr. Tinauli’s research interests include ‘sustainable system service and design’, interaction design’, ‘design thinking’, ‘social innovation’ and ‘human behavior’. He has conducted several social innovation camps/workshops in Asia, Europe and USA that focused on sustainability, service design, co-creation and co-existence.
As a young researcher he was interviewed in one of the European Television programs titled, The Obama of the Future. An exemplary highlight of his current career would be “Trash Track” project that he lead at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, USA. The project enabled the tracking of trash to ensure a more sustainable behavior on Human’s end. It also makes the dream of the “internet of things” where every thing is addressable and traceable. The project also stands out to be one of the most influential projects of MIT. He formed and lead a team of about 20 people including researchers, scientists, engineers, designers, artists and computer science professionals. He believes in changing the world bottom up through better education. He was awarded with prestigious titles of IBM PhD Fellowship and the Progetto Rocca Fellowship to conduct research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, USA. He holds a PhD in Design from Politecnico di Milano, Italy; a Masters by Research degree from Multimedia University, Malaysia and a Bachelors (CS) from Muhammad Ali Jinnah University. He has also worked in several academic and consultant capacities in KSA, China, Australia, Norway and Italy. Dr. Tinauli’s major contribution in Asia is that of his project, ‘Fori Mazdoori’. It’s a project focused on empowering the workers at the bottom of the pyramid. FM has been featured in national and international media such as Dawn, Express Tribune and PTV. It has also won several innovation and business model awards.
Dr. Tinauli has about ten international publications in conferences and journals. His works have been exhibited in London Museum, Seattle Public Library and Architectural League of New York. His project trash track also won the NSF visualization challenge. He is an eloquent keynote speaker and a naturally gifted trainer. He has had plenty of acknowledgements from large crowds as well as the corporate world such as Mobilink Pakistan, US Embassy (Pakistan), Microsoft, Baerum commune and Simula Research Laboratory of Norway. Tazeen Mohsin Imran: Tazeen Mohsin Imran a clinical psychologist, thought leader and the Chief Culture Officer for AQUITY. Dedicated to nurturing the human spirit to fulfill their own unique potential. Tazeen’s interest led her to work in several fields including advertising, research & education. She indulged herself in learning alternative healing modalities like Mind Sciences and Reiki, before finally pursuing psychotherapy. She has been facilitating thousands through her trainings from a very long time now. She has worked with many different national and international organizations like ICI, Nestle, 3M, Lu biscuits, Unilever, Research International (India), Synovate (India), Engro, Lenovo, Tux, Bold and has conducted workshops in Telenor, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Raaziq International, Central Depository Company, Punjab Government, Lion’s Leadership Conference, Bayer, The City School, The Citizen’s Foundation, and Siraat-ul-Janaat. Her public workshops included participants from Standard Chartered, LUMS, IBA, UBL, Engro, Shaigan Pharmacy, Lotte, LaFarge, British Council, OBS group to name a few.
