M&E Manager

Develop a comprehensive M&E strategy aligned with project objectives and outcomes.
Provide strategic guidance on M&E methodologies and best practice
Design and implement a robust M&E system, including indicators, tools, and data collection mechanisms.
Establish data quality assurance protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of project-related data.
Extract meaningful insights from data to inform project progress and impact
Lead the production of regular and ad-hoc M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate findings and recommendations to enhance project decision-making
Provide training and support to project staff on M&E methodologies and data collection techniques.
Design and conduct project evaluations to assess outcomes and impact.
Facilitate a culture of continuous learning through knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions.
Identify areas for improvement based on M&E findings and recommend adjustments to project strategies.
Collaborate with project partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment of M&E efforts.

At least Master’s degree in social sciences, project management or equivalent
4-6 Years of relevant experience in the Development Sector
Knowledge of project cycle management (situation/context analysis, conceptual models, theories of change, monitoring and evaluation and exit).
Good management and coordination skills as well as experience in technical project implementation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network and to develop and maintain strong relationships with field staff;
The incumbent will work with Programme Manager to ensure timely and quality technical reports as per SFEA’s standards and donor requirements.
Possession of strong organizational, reporting and analytical skills;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and travel
