Key Responsibilities
- Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various project teams to understand project/proposal requirements.
- Ability to dissect information and prepare summaries.
- Proposal writing and ideas development.
- Gather information from subject-matter experts, develop, organize, and write technical specifications, and process documentation
- Keep up with the Current Funding Opportunities & Events
- Search for potential solutions to problems through research and build upon those solutions.
- Providing statistical and analytical support through research in proposal writing.
- Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research, with assistance of a mentor if required.
- Participate regularly in group meetings and prepare and deliver presentations to project team, internal and external stakeholders or funders.
- Assisting senior personnel and Sr. Program Development Lead in developing the overall strategy and methodology for proposals or projects.
More Details:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of socio-cultural and political issues/challenges of Pakistan.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an effective technical writer in the Development Sector or equivalent.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matters
- Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Evidence of Writing Experience (links to successfully awarded proposals would be advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
