Akhtar Syed has 14 years of experience in program development & management, policy advocacy, communication, and research. He has served as National Coordinator-Child Rights Movement (CRM) Pakistan (a network of more than 450 NGOs/INGOs). He is an expert in the fields of peacebuilding, human rights, child rights, economic and tax reforms, public health, democracy & governance, and consumer rights. He has designed and managed numerous development programs at national and international levels. He also designed several rights-based communication strategies, ran mass media awareness campaigns, and produced various research studies/reports. He has excellent expertise in developing effective monitoring, accountability, and performance frameworks, identifying gaps, recommending and delivering strategically inclined measures to improve performance.
