Active KP

The project ACTIVE-KP is built upon SFEA’s P/CVE and community engagement strengths and is focused on building a peaceful society in the Pakistani through CVE and peace education based on compassion, all-inclusiveness and non-violence. ACTIVE-KP is going to conduct three Salamti Fellowships in KP specifically. During the fellowship, 30 participants from diverse backgrounds will be brought together. There will be lectures, workshops, and various activities during the week-long residential fellowship. The fellows will then go back to their communities and conduct Community Action Projects to cascade the message of peace. Under the project 13 Reading Circles will be established and 13 project documentaries will be made to highlight the success stories. One Think Festival will also be conducted including Aman Baithaks, Mukalma and Daastangoi sessions complemented with rich cultural displays, informative/entertaining/theatre performances, film/documentary screening, and musical sessions by local musicians. The project also aims to reach out to communities through mainstream (TV/Radio), and social media.
