Dialouge: “𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧”

Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness (SFEA), in partnership with the 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 (𝐘𝐏𝐅) of the National Assembly of Pakistan and the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, in affiliation with the Pakistan Study Center and Bureau of STAGE, organized a dialogue titled “𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧” at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro on September 26, 2023.

This event was a part of a series of grand debates initiated by SFEA and YPF, in different universities across Pakistan aiming to underscore the significance of student and youth engagement in the democratic process. The dialogue provided a platform for young emerging leaders to engage with subject experts, gaining valuable insights into their roles as future leaders. Over 250 students from various university departments actively participated in the event.

The panelists for the dialogue included 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐨 (𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐯), 𝐈𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢 (𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞), 𝐒𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐦 (𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧), 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥 (𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧), and two students from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 (𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 & 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞) assumed the role of moderator for the session.

The panelists presented their distinct perspectives and participants expressed great interest in debate by posing a variety of questions to clarify their thoughts on the topic. The event concluded with a commitment to advocate for active and meaningful youth participation in the political process
