The project FCTEW(Fostering Critical Thinking and Entrepreneurial Skills in Young Women for Gender Inclusive Socioeconomic Development) worked with 04 public sector universities namely, Government College University Lahore, Rawalpindi Women University, Women University Multan and Women University Multan.

The project was implemented with an aim to establish networks and promote linkages of women faculty, researchers, and students with the private sector and civil society to enhance opportunities for gender-inclusive socio-economic development.

During the project 450 students and 50 teachers were trained through WILL( Women in Learning and Leadership) Trainings. Moreover, 14 exposure and networking visits for students and teachers to local industrial hubs, business incubation centers, academic institutions and organizations were organized to enhance linkages and interactions among them. The project also established four (04) Critical Thinking Circles (CTCs) at universities, following the model of the Critical Thinking Forum (CTF). These circles served as platforms for engaging in dialogue and debate on topics concerning Gender Equality, Social Inclusion, Environmental Justice, and Women’s Empowerment through regular meetings.

Another successful initiative of the project was commencement of 24 women-led ventures by providing a Seed Grant of 2.1 Million PKR through the Idea Design Competition to 24 students and teachers. In addition, a comprehensive web portal (www.will.com.pk) and a social media campaign were developed to disseminate all project-related information.
