Peace Labs

PeaceLab: Promoting Regional Peace and Stability," was an initiative driven by the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) to support safer societies in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This five-day master class brought together 100 alumni from U.S. government exchange programs, 50 from each country.

The program aimed to equip participants with crucial skills in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and market linkages. These skills were intended to enable them to develop technological solutions that contributed to local and regional peace efforts. "PeaceLab" served as an incubator for their peace tech ideas, guiding them toward profitable or non-profit ventures. Through mentorship and training, participants were prepared to scale up their startup peace technology initiatives, with the ultimate goal of lessening and preventing potential conflicts and promoting sustainable peace. The program also facilitated networking opportunities, fostering connections between emerging entrepreneurs from both countries. "PeaceLab" not only enhanced the abilities of its participants but also paved the way for continued engagement between exchange alumni, fostering resiliency and stability in Pakistan and Afghanistan. We were pleased to have had you on this journey toward a more peaceful future.
