Rabta I & II

RABTA-I project focused on imparting training, exposure, and augmenting the skill sets of community leaders from 30 underserved districts across Pakistan, encompassing a range of critical subjects pertinent to community-level peacebuilding. By establishing a resilient and localized network, RABTA forged pathways to reach individuals residing in geographically inaccessible and remote regions of Pakistan. The initiative not only bolstered local capabilities but also involved community leaders in region-specific endeavors that actively rejected prevailing narratives that incite violence. A total of 210 individuals directly benefited from the project. Building upon the achievements of RABTA I, the subsequent phase, RABTA II, aimed to transform behaviors and construct robust narratives opposing violent extremism. Collaborating with 15 partners across 15 remote districts in Pakistan, the project established community action initiatives spanning a total of 20 cities. These community action endeavors were centered around the reinforcement of peace and democracy through meaningful and impactful community engagement.
