Safe Online Future for Teens (SOFT)
Introduction: Safe Online Future for Teens (SOFT) is a two-year initiative started from Oct 2024, aims to empower Pakistani teens aged 13-18 with essential digital literacy and online security skills. Through age-appropriate training and resources, the initiative equips teens to critically evaluate online content, safeguard their privacy, and engage in safe, positive online behaviors. Designed to promote responsible social media use, identify and counter misinformation, and enhance awareness of cyber threats, SOFT prepares young users to navigate the digital landscape safely. By encouraging digital responsibility, safe online habits, and privacy settings across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp, the project fosters sustainable online practices. Launched in Islamabad and Punjab, SOFT is now expanding nationwide, cultivating a generation of informed and secure digital citizens.
