WCD, a pioneering project with NIC-Q in the heart of Quetta, Balochistan. This project is a beacon of empowerment , taking women’s ascent through immersive entrepreneurship training and the nurturing of business acumen. An unprecedented initiative, it promotes change, endowing women with the power to change their destinies, uplift their families, and spread their influence across the fabric of Balochistan’s economy. Along with training the project aims to influence society through cross cutting awareness campaign and provide seed grants to 5 beneficiaries and have a US based training as well.

In this project, SFEA and NIC successfully organized five outreach sessions for women entrepreneurs. These sessions involved 60 business women and out of these, 42 businesses participated in two-week-long boot camp.

Following the completion of this intensive training, an Idea Competition/Foundation Council event was held. As a result of this competition, 20 startups were selected to participate in the Business Incubation program at NIC. Their initial comprehensive 10-day training occurred in
June, and currently, they are participating in US Based training sessions.
