Community Engagement and Action for Peace Building
CEAP was a program centered to augmenting capabilities, fostering community involvement, and raising broad awareness of CVE within the societal framework. The initiative diligently cultivated an understanding among the masses, with a particular emphasis on the youth, women, and influential figures such as representatives from civil society organizations, journalists, and educators. It aimed to engender a discourse on peace and nonviolence, employing efficacious strategies to counter opposing narratives through well-structured counter-narrative approaches and workshops focused on peace, as well as constructive group discussions.

By enhancing the capacities of young individuals, especially those enrolled in universities, colleges, and religious seminaries, the project provided them with the requisite knowledge and competencies. This empowered them to identify and address actions and ideologies that propagate violent narratives within their immediate surroundings and the broader society, while also actively initiating the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Furthermore, the project augmented community-driven efforts to combat violent extremism, leveraging mechanisms such as focused group discussions (FGDs), video logs (V-Logs), imaginative public service messages (PSMs), and sessions devoted to community engagement.
